About Russell Harrison Sr.

Russell Harrison Sr. is the Founder, President, and Lead Mentor of the Born2BeAMan Mentoring Program, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young men develop into responsible, productive, and successful leaders in their homes, schools, and communities.

“Changing lives one young man at a time.”

As a husband to Clarissa Harrison, father of seven, mentor, coach, and educator, Russell has devoted his life to serving youth and providing the guidance, support, and accountability many young men need to reach their full potential. Through Born2BeAMan, he has mentored hundreds of young men by teaching life skills, leadership, character development, conflict resolution, goal setting, financial responsibility, and the importance of making positive choices.

Russell believes that every young man deserves someone who believes in him, challenges him, and helps him discover his purpose. His passion for mentorship comes from a desire to break negative cycles, strengthen families, and create opportunities for the next generation.

Under his leadership, the Born2BeAMan Mentoring Program has organized educational trips, leadership retreats, community service projects, career exploration opportunities, and life-changing experiences designed to expose young men to possibilities beyond their current circumstances.

His mission is simple: to help young men become the men they were born to be.

Originally from Miami Florida moved to Tallahassee at age 17 along the way I met Mr.Russell Harrison (Founder of B2BAMP) alongside with my peer mentors whose work ethic inspires me to be the best version of myself on and of camera and with this intentionality we have been able to utilize our Empathy and real personal life experiences to guide and give the youth the resources they need to be successful.

I’m 18 years old, I’ve been blessed to be apart of the B2BMAN program for 5 years. I have a personal belief that “Dreams save us”. Living in such a time as this all we see and hear is negativity and I just want to be an example, a physical representative of hope, peace, and love. That I believe with those qualities we can all dream and make our dreams come true. I’m a new member of the mentor group, but I strive for nothing less than my best and with such an amazing team as these guy I know we will all achieve great things!!
